Wilkie Collins

 Wilkie Collins was a 19th century British author and writer of popular fiction, I've only been reading his stuff for a couple of years so far, but I've really enjoyed everything of his that I have read. Today his work is probably best known from the BBC television adaptations of "The Moonstone" and "The Woman in White".
